PRINCIPAL Technical Artist
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Principal Technical Artist with a strong background in technical animation. This role requires a deep understanding of animation principles, rigging, and scripting and the ability to collaborate with artists and engineers to develop cutting-edge tools and workflows. As a Tech Artist at Stoke Games, you act as the bridge between Art and Engineering and contribute to the look and feel of the game.

Knowledgeable in designing, building, managing, and maintaining the content pipeline from asset creation through deployment.
Comfortable innovating rapidly, solving issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuously adapting to evolving needs and requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Knowledge of procedural animation techniques.
Experience with animation, animation workflows, and setting up scalable runtime destruction systems.
Experience rigging mechanical systems and creating procedural, modular control rigs for ease of use and scalable reusability.
Familiarity with shader development and real-time rendering techniques.
Experience building optimized Unreal materials with material functions, HLSL nodes, and VFX data interfaces.
Proficient at writing blueprint utilities, Python/PySide scripting, and designing automation workflows.
Understanding of setting up procedural content generation systems for level building.
Understanding of asset optimization and system scalability.
