We’re looking for a talented and passionate Senior Engineer to help us build our exciting new game. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of game development, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for games. As a Senior Engineer, you will work on a small team alongside design, product, and other engineers to solve fundamental product questions and create enduring player experiences. Your work will span a variety of technical areas to address needs wherever they arise.

YOU WILL:

• Utilize your expertise to create and deliver top-tier player experiences from start to finish

• Work closely with product and discipline leads to bring the game vision to life, ensuring we create engaging and enjoyable experiences for our players

• Help shape the technical direction and standards for the team

• Debug and resolve technical issues to uphold a high-quality gaming experience

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in game development

• Refine and optimize dependable, scalable, and performant solutions as development progresses into full production

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer

• Proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine

• Should be proactive and able to work independently

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience collaborating with teammates across multiple disciplines

• Strong product sense and understanding of player empathy when making technical decisions

PLUSES:

• Experience working on online multiplayer games

• Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related degree
